Contest! (Voting Open!)

That's right, people, there's finally going to be a contest over here! It's just a simple thing, with a simple prize, but hopefully it'll be fun.

Contest:

We all have our own reasons for disliking the JakxKeira pairing, right? Well, I'm sure we'd all like to share them! Draw a picture, write a ficlet, do something you can submit as a deviation that explains why you dislike this pairing. Is there a particular scene? Write your own rendition! Is there a certain image that sticks out in your mind? Draw it!

It doesn't matter if it's canon or not--if it's something you can see happening, something that spurred you into joining this club, then we want to see it! Anything that makes you anti-JakxKeira is welcome.

Rules:

1. No blatant character-bashing.

2. No killing a character just for the sake of killing them.

3. Do not write or draw something with the intention of putting down another artist's or author's work. I'm talking copying someone's pro-JakxKeira work and distorting it into something exactly the opposite. (I've seen this done, it's not nice. Don't do it.)

4. This club is not meant to support another pairing, so don't submit anything that is more PRO-OtherPairing than it is ANTI-JakxKeira.

Submission:

To submit an entry, send a note to =nashidesei with the words "Anti-JxK Contest" in the header. Do NOT send a note to the club, it probably won't be received until it's too late.

Enter as many times as you want--all entries will be listed below on this journal, and will also be featured in the club gallery.

Prizes:

First Place: Two full-color bust drawings by =nashidesei. A sample of what a bust drawing looks like can be seen [here]. The winner will get to request one of these to be drawn for them, of any character from any fandom. Jak-based characters are preferable--OCs are okay--but Nashi isn't picky so long as she has references.

Second Place: One full-color bust drawing, Jak-based characters only. Jakiverse OCs are okay.

Third Place: One lineart bust drawing, Jak-based characters only. Jakiverse OCs are okay.

Judging and Voting:

To vote, send a note to =nashidesei with the word "Voting" in the subject line. In the body, state the entry you're voting for either by name, or with a link to the deviation.

Voting starts today, December 5th and ends on Monday, December 10th. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, December 11th.
